First of all, a piece of important information: Since early
2001, legal health funds can no longer pay for ambulant pressure
chamber therapy after diving accidents! However, despite taking
utmost care, diving accidents can never be completely prevented.
With the dive card, you’ll receive a comprehensive safety pack from professionals. This is granted due to the inclusion in the group insurance contracts, which we have agreed with our partner insurances ACE European Group Limited (for diving accident insurance and travel health insurance) and R&V (for the liability insurance). We are passing on to you their favourable conditions without extra charge. For everyone this means: optimal protection at a very fair price.
The dive card itself is a waterproof, signal red emergency card you can attach to your equipment with the ready-made hole punching... because what’s the use of having an emergency card in your wallet?

The dive card basic offers you diving accident cover worldwide.
Our emergency call service
is particularly important for divers: Here, you will have
direct access to emergency and pressure chamber physicians
24/7. In other words, you won’t be put through to a call centre.
Our doctors help you with medical problems,
and also organise all treatments, including any repatriation
to your homeland, in an emergency.
In the event of longer pressure chamber treatment abroad,
the necessary hotel costs are also covered by an insurance
(provided by ACE European Group Limited) included in the dive
card.
Important pressure chamber therapy is, of course, guaranteed for divers worldwide. In addition, the dive card contains adequate health insurance for international travel, which also covers costs for other illnesses abroad. The travel insurance is valid for 56 consecutive days abroad.
If you plan to be abroad for longer, we also offer an extension for your international travel insurance. Our favourable conditions, due to the inclusion in the group contract of the ACE European Group Limited, we can also pass to you without extra charge. We will be happy to send you a quote on request.
Once your policy has started, you can store your medical data, with us online in the emergency database online customer portal. This includes important information such as your blood group, allergies or intolerances. You decide which data you enter and which data is available in an emergency.
By storing your medical data, your information is directly accessible to the participating doctors in an emergency.

Are you an independent diving instructor or training to be one? Are you an underwater photographer, underwater biologist or have a similar profession? Then you’ll need liability insurance. The dive card professional offers you this over the partner insurances R+V Allgemeine Versicherungen AG, in addition to the dive card basic services.
The diving instructor liability insurance covers you for liability claims which may arise as part of your teaching activities. The diving instructor liability insurance directly includes legal protection against unjustified claims.
If you are a PADI instructor and give us your PADI No., we’ll automatically advise PADI that you have liability insurance. Because the aqua med dive card professional is, of course, recognised there, and complies with the required insured sums.

For families, we offer the dive card family. It contains the services of the dive card basic for every diving family member, and is valid for max. 2 life partners and 2 children under 21 years (in a domestic household). Other children can be added to the dive card family for 12.00 Euros a year each.

For non-diving partners or family members, the travel card is an addition to the dive card, and also includes our worldwide emergency call service and international travel insurance for non-diving relatives.
It is valid for max. 1 life partner and 2 children under 21 (in a domestic household). Other children can be added to the dive card family for 12.00 Euros a year each.
The travel card for dive card holder relatives costs just 25,- Euros a year.
